Audio Rokit are proud to announce that we will be one of the judges at this years Surface Festival “Battle of The Bands” finals.
The event is held at the O2 Arena (IndigO2) London on 1st October, 2011.
We’re judging alongside Jon Brookes – Founder and drummer in The Charlatans and Alex Baker – Kerrang Radio Unsigned Show. Thank you to Surface Festival for this awesome opportunity.
What is the Competition For?
The competition is to win two free tickets to the finals of this years Surface Festival “Battle of The Bands” finals held at the world famous O2 Arena in London. We will be selecting five (5) winners, each winner will receive two free tickets so they can bring a friend!
Why Are We Running This Competition?
You may not know it, but we only launched Audio Rokit (a state-of-the-art song pitching platform) in December 2010.
In the eight months since we launched we have gone from strength to strength and we’re really proud of what we’ve achieved for our members so far.
But, we’re still the small guys in town so Dave and I have been brainstorming all week on how we can best promote Audio Rokit and ‘spread the word’ to more musicians.
We decided that you guys may have some cool ideas so we thought we’d be cheeky and just ask!
How To Enter (Competition Question)

“How do you think we should promote Audio Rokit to reach more musicians?”

Unsure How to Answer The Competition Question?
The truth is, marketing and promoting a web service today is about creative thinking. It used to be that a new business could advertise in a few magazines and hey presto, people know about you!
Today, however, musicians are flooded with services and bombarded with options all the time.
So, when you think about the competition question, “How do you think we should promote Audio Rokit to reach more musicians?”, we are looking for clever, simple and original ideas.

About The Prize
After an amazing 8 months of live music up and down the UK and Spain involving over 500 shows, the best 21 bands have won a place on the International Showcase at the O2 in London on 1st October 2011. Our five competition winners will recieve two free tickets to watch the spectacle!
Dave and I will also be there to catch up with you for a drink! It’s going to be an epic day of networking, socialising and great performances by some of the hottest unsigned bands in the country.
The Surface Festival judges will award who they consider to be the best bands with prizes worth in excess of £100,000 so there is going to be heated competition from the bands!

Rules
The international showcase is a 14+ event. 14-15 year olds must be accompanied by an adult. Please bring a valid form of id.
Winner will be selected on Sept 25th 2011 and contacted via telephone (or email if no phone number provided). If we can not get hold of the winner then the tickets will be offered to the person we consider the runner up.
